RM Great, catchy math rock with a closer that hit me right in the feels, whether it was meant to or not. Hard to stop listening. Favorite track: The Toys are Back in Town.

Eric Gedenk Happy to have stumbled upon some fresh math rock. The tendency to make mathy albums increasingly driven purely by technical prowess gets old, and this album is soaked in dynamic/groove.
The Dashing, Young and Bold

The Dashing, Young and Bold Such a sonically interesting album. Sounds like a lot of time and attention to detail went into composing and tracking this thing and I love you for it. At times progressive groove, other times etherial and smooth. Love it! Favorite track: Telemachus.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Sloth & Turtle" demonstrate in an exemplary way that math rock can be big fun to listen to. There's undoubtedly a great deal of genre-typical guitar tapping to be found on this album, but fortunately to a reasonable extent, thus leaving enough room for fat sounds, smooth melodies, and awesome, frequently snare-laden drum grooves. Favorite track: A Song for Ants.
S.V. Lasko

S.V. Lasko Yanks the high school math, emo heartstrings. Sounds like an idealistic love buzz. The band is taut and fast-moving with the song movements. This is a kind of jelly that I didn’t have in my pantry - I guess it’s like chili-infused apricot. Blue ribbon instrumental math rock at the State Fair chili-infused apricot jelly. (And the cover art is radagast!) Favorite track: Hex.

popcorn_oracle Just saying Sloth & turtle!! Is my visceral response to my feeling about this band. Catchy as hell, but also post rocky in the right way - layering the sound and then absolutely delivering at the end. Also very awesome humans on top of it, people should always go see them live if they can!
